Meet Our Team

Dr. Gregg Goodson

Originally from Canada, Dr. Gregg came to Stowe when he was a child. He spent two years at the University of Guelph in Ontario before finishing his undergraduate degree at the University of Vermont, and graduated from Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He worked for three years post-graduation at Sequist Animal Hospital and amicably parted to found Stowe Veterinary Clinic in 1994. He has overseen the growth of the practice from a clinic adjacent to his family's farmhouse on Stagecoach Road in Stowe, to our current location. When he isn't practicing veterinary medicine, he is skiing, hiking, snowshoeing, biking and enjoying time with his family, dogs, and horses.

Dr. Ryan Flannery

Dr. Ryan was born in Vermont and grew up in the town of Calais. In his early years he spent time making maple syrup. He graduated from Union 32 high school in 2006. He then enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. After retiring from the military he worked as a large animal veterinary technician. He then attended Tufts University for veterinary school and graduated with honors. He has subsequently moved back to Vermont and he enjoys time with his family, his dogs, skiing/ snowboarding, gardening and playing tennis with friends.

Dr. Carrie Childs

Dr. Carrie Childs is a graduate of Middlebury College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary career started in Philadelphia, where she served as the medical director for the city’s largest rescue organization and performed thousands of spays, neuters, and other more advanced surgeries. Dr. Childs has been practicing compassionate veterinary care in Vermont since 2021, with a special interest in surgery. When not saving animal lives, Dr. Childs spends her time wrangling her children on ambitious adventures on skis or bikes, and taking on sewing and (explosive) kombucha projects.

Meghan, Practice Manager

Meghan is the practice manager at Stowe Veterinary Clinic. She has been part of the team since 2004 and specializes in team leadership and inventory planning. Meghan is deeply passionate about client experience and supporting the staff as well as workflow. Outside of managing, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, reading or any time spent with family and friends especially around a good campfire. Meghan shares her home with her husband, a Labrador named Lulu, and a cat named George.

Olivia, Certified Vet Tech

Olivia has always had a passion for helping and rescuing animals. She graduated from Vermont Technical College and became a CVT in 2003. She later returned to school, earning her Bachelor's degree in Applied Business Management in 2020. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors with her family and collecting different colors of French Bulldogs like they were Pokémon.

Dawn, Certified Vet Tech

Dawn is a Certified Veterinary Technician who joined our team in 2025. She graduated from VTC in 2000 and has continued to provide compassionate care for animals, with a special interest in various aspects such as pain management and dental care ever since. She recently received certification to perform abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms. Outside of work, you'll often find her exploring the great outdoors with her pups, spending time with her spouse and two children, or occasionally spoiling her adorable chickens.

Michelle, Vet Tech

Michelle grew up in Lamoille County. She graduated from VTC in 2020 with an associate's degree in animal science and veterinary technology. She started working at Stowe Vet as an intern in 2019. She has a passion for dental care and cleanings. She has two cats. When she is not working she can be found curled up with a good book.

Donna, Vet Tech

Donna grew up in Lamoille County and began her career in 2014 at Animal Medical Hospital, starting as a receptionist and cross-training as a technician. In September 2017, she joined Dr. Gregg's practice after he acquired the equipment and clients from the retiring doctor. Outside of work, she is a mother of two teenage daughters who keep her very busy with sports and other activities. She also enjoys spending time with her fur children: two cats, Rosie and Duke, and a dog named Rascal.

Kenzie, Vet Tech

Kenzie joined the team in 2020. She's a Stowe native and received a bachelors degree in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont in 2024. She's passionate about animal behavior. When she's not helping care for your pets you can catch her spending time outside with her own fur family, reading, dancing, or swimming.

LeeLee, Administrator and Client Care

A life-long Stowe resident, LeeLee is Dr. Gregg's wife and has been part of Stowe Vet Clinic since its inception. Her roles over the years have ranged from office manager, IT point person, emergency vet assistant, gardener, plumber, interior decorator...you name it. She currently answers phones a couple of days a week. A retired senior lecturer emerita from the University of Vermont's English department with an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, when she's not at the clinic, she works on her writing, hikes with dogs Tater and Pixel, skis, rides her horse, Arthur, and travels to visit far-flung grandchildren.

Kathy, Client Care

Kathy has worked in the veterinary field for over 36 years. She has been a staple to the Stowe Vet Team since joining us in 2017. She loves working with animals and is exceptional at providing compassionate care.

Danielle, Client Care

Joanne, Client Care

Joanne moved to Vermont from Cape Cod in 2007 and has always had a deep love for animals. Shortly after relocating, she began working at a local veterinary hospital, where she spent 16 years as both a receptionist and a veterinary technician. Although she pursued a different path, she missed being part of the veterinary field, and recently returned to a receptionist role, where she enjoys, connecting with clients and helping care for their beloved pets. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, spending time with her family, cooking, and caring for her two geriatric dogs, Lucy and Chico.

Perry, Client Support and Night Security

Perry has been a part of the team for years and is entrusted with bravely  protecting the clinic overnight. He's likely to be found right at the front desk ready to greet you when you come in, or sunbathing by the big windows in our waiting room. Be sure to give a pat for all the hard work he does for us here 😸
