Oral health greatly affects your pet's wellbeing. When dental health declines it can lead to painful infections and medical complications that negatively impact your pet's quality of life. Just as with humans, many pets require dental intervention at one or more points in their lives to keep their teeth healthy. During routine exams our veterinarians will update you on the current state of your pet's oral health and when indicated, may recommend a dental procedure.

When recommended, your pet can receive an out-patient dental procedure under anesthesia from us. For more information on the details of our surgical processes, please reference the Surgery tab.
During dental surgery all patients:
Once your pet has recovered from their dental procedure you should receive a call from their veterinarian or one of our receptionists to let you know how they're doing and when you can pick them up. Upon checkout, one of our team members will go over all the take home instructions and medications with you. While your pet may feel a little sore right after their procedure, most recover wonderfully at home and feel great relief in the following days.
